In my Honors Leadership & Organization Management course in fall 2018, there was a competition involving 5 groups in which we had to create a business of our choosing. We had to choose a parent company, and create a subsidiary that aligns with our vision. We had to develop a multi-page business proposal which was reviewed by Professor Kate Nelson, and all groups had to present their final business presentations to a panel of 3 talent acquisition specialists from various corporations. My group in particular chose Alphabet to be our parent company, and we decided to follow the digital wave by creating a virtual reality experience subsidiary that would provide services for fun, corporate team building, and for real life applications.
