Intro to Third-Party Risk Management
Nelson Knight, Consulting Risk Manager at Ernst and Young (EY), gave a satisfactory presentation on third-party risk management within his organization. He went over the specifics of third-party risk, explaining exactly what it is and how to deal with it. Also, he illustrated specific ways to improve an organizations third-party risk management (TPRM) program and exemplified strong components needed to fully solidify protection against the risks discussed in the presentation. It was great to gain knowledge about the importance of this category of risk management and showed me the reason that every company should prioritize their TPRM programs to protect themselves fully. Overall, Mr. Knight provided the MIS department with a very informational presentation that expanded my knowledge of risk management in the business world.
