The courses I have taken relate to my career interests because they have shown me the path I want to go down. MIS 3501 showed me that I have a love for coding and programming- because of this I have found a position at Engine Room Tech as a programmer / web developer. Another thing I have discovered is my love for solving problems. MIS courses have shown me that there are other ways to solve problems than how I was taught beforehand. MIS has shown me that it’s best to solve problems by breaking the problem down into its basic components and get each bit by bit working before moving onto the rest of the problem.
I would like to use the skills I have learned in my courses to leverage technology in business and use it to ensure that the company I work for is a market leader due to their innovation with using technology.
