My Interests
I am an avid chess player. I love the strategy behind the game, and how there is no way to prepare for a game. I find chess to be one of the greatest gams created because of its infinite options, and how each game is always completely different. The best thing about chess for me, has been training and seeing myself grow and become better. Chess isn’t a game where you have a plan from the beginning on how you are going to checkmate your opponent, chess is a game made up of ‘mini-strategies’ to win the point system. Each piece has a set point value; pawn = 1 point, knight and bishop = 3 points, rook = 5 points and the queen is worth 9 points. If you are able to have strategies that take about 2 to 4 moves to develop, and basing it on winning the micro point system, your chances of winning that game grow exponentially.
