LinkedIn Learning: Business Analysis Foundations
I completed a LinkedIn learning course for Business Analysis Foundations. This lesson helped me learn many of the fundamentals of business analysis and how it connects to project/product management. I learned how to break down what stakeholders need, compare how things are now versus how they could be, and decide which changes are actually worth making. I’ve already found myself thinking about this stuff while working on class projects, especially the ones where we’re designing systems or setting up databases. Long term, this is definitely going to help with jobs where I’ll need to be the person translating business needs into tech solutions. The course also walked through some tools like SWOT analysis and stakeholder maps that I didn’t really know how to use before, but now they make sense. It made everything feel a lot more real, not just stuff you memorize for a test.
This will help me heavily in my future career endeavors as I hope to someday be a product manager or work in business analysis.
