Ascend

During my first semester, I was looking for an organization that I could join.  Professors highly encouraged everyone to be involved at Fox.  As I was looking around Temple’s Student Professional Organization Fair, Ascend grabbed my attention.  All the officers were dressed nicely, very friendly, and seemed ambitious.  As soon as I had a chance to speak with them, I knew that I wanted to be part of Ascend’s member.  I knew that if I was around motivated students, I will also become more motivated to work and try to be the best.  I became very active, receiving Ascend’s Shining Star Scholarship and became an officer for Fall 2012 ~ Spring 2013 terms.  Ascend and its officers and members help me prepared for an upcoming interviews and writing my resume.  Without this organization, I would not be where I am now.  Even though I will have to rest a semester from Ascend and Temple, I will always assist them from its events.
