- TJX is an international corporation dedicated to off price retail whose brands include TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Home Goods, Home Sense, TK Maxx, Sierra Trading Post and Winners. They have over 4,000 locations and over 250,000 employees. TJX\\\\\\\’s headquarters is located in Framingham, Massachusetts. Their products range from clothing to furniture to beauty products. I work in the IT department in their Philadelphia Distribution Center, which is their largest DC.

- At TJX, I work on several projects to improve and support their Networking Systems. I assist in the administration of many of their databases for their Warehouse Management System. I support thousands of the devices that are on their network which include servers, routers, and switches in their Server Room and IDFs as well as devices used by employees which include computers, terminals, printers, and portable devices (scanners, portable computers, and tablets.) I also assist in the implementation of several projects such as the launch of Sharepoint, server cleanup, hardware upgrades, and security upgrades.

- My coursework at Temple assisted me in acquiring this position immensely. Enterprise IT Architecture is naturally the course which assisted me the most in understanding my role at TJX. Learning the way that networks an network devices work in an organization in this class have allowed me to excel in my position. Since this class served as a solid foundation, I have been able to learn about more advanced networking ideas quickly. Also, my Cybersecurity capstone class will help me in the future at this organization as a greater emphasis is being placed on cyber security at TJX. My work with the Linux command line in this course will also help me exceed in my role as a Linux based Warehouse Management System rollout approaches.
