Traveling: One of the things that I enjoy the most is traveling. I feel that traveling to different countries is not only fun, but also a great learning experience. In addition to being able to experience new foods and meet new people, it gives you an opportunity to learn about the culture that you are visiting. This past Summer I had the opportunity to intern for a company in Hong Kong. While working there, I felt that it was such a better learning experience than simply going somewhere for vacation. Although I had one of the greatest times during my stay there, it was also one of the greatest learning experiences. Working full-time in Hong Kong gave me the chance know exactly what it is like being a Hong Kong citizen. It was an experience that I will never forget, and I can’t wait to travel all around the world.
Golf: Golfing has become my go to activity on the weekends for me and a few of my friends. Golf is relaxing, unlike other sports, which I find extremely enjoyable. Golf is very difficult, but the desire to get better has driven me to play more and improve.
Emerging Technology: New technologies have always been something that I have been interested in, which is the main reason that MIS stuck out to me as a major. I find that as I browse the web, articles on new tech products and inventions are what grab my attention. What I find amazing about technology, is just how fast it is evolving and the potential that these new devices and technologies have.
