Consulting Foundations: Client Management and Relationships

This course was extremely beneficial because I want to pursue tech consulting, and this course provided me with the basis for creating good relationships with your client. Trust is extremely important in a successful relationship with your client, and I found it very helpful knowing the different approaches/tips in building that solid relationship. The course explains the importance of differentiating yourself as a consultant through platforms such as LinkedIn, client testimonials, case studies, etc in order to showcase your value and attract more clients. I also enjoyed the explanation regarding periodic project updates with the client. You don’t want your buyer to feel like you are pestering them or feel like they’re being kept in the dark, so the course explains a good rule of thumb to use is to dividing the project length into 5; if your project is 5 months, you meet with the client once a month.
