Associate Experience Designer
I’m very excited to continue my professional career working at PPL Electric Utilities! PPL EU is a publically traded company located in the Lehigh Valley with a mission to provide reliable, safe energy at a reasonable cost to our customers and best-in-sector returns to our shareowners. As an intern there, I gained valuable experiences that will help me achieve my goals as a full-time employee.
I am current a User Experience Design Intern and will continue as an Associate Experience Designer. My day to day tasks include:
- Note-taking on Usability Testing and User Interviews
- Designing interface
- Creating empathy maps
- Taking record of website content to aid in current and future design
I discovered that I wanted to work as a User Experience Designer when taking Digital Solutions Studios with Professor Lavin! My passion for the human experience and the reliance on technology that continues to affect the human experience is the reason why I chose the MIS major, so naturally, I enjoyed Professor Lavin’s class. In my day to day job, I apply concepts from the classroom to communicate with the team.
