As a junior Management Information Systems (MIS) major and an artist, it is my passion to bridge the gap between creative and analytical thinking. Currently, I am a development intern at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. I hope to continue my career in pediatric healthcare by utilizing technology and data to improve efficiency and leverage breakthrough discoveries that save lives.
Being a student in the Fox School of Business has provided me with various valuable experiences that have helped develop my professional and personal success. As the Artistic Director of FSPS, I oversee all creative operations within the society to maintain a concise brand that fully represents The Fox School of Business’ mission. I’m also an active member in the Association for Information Systems where I continue to expand my network of students, faculty, and employers. Through AIS, I competed in Temple’s Analytics challenge where I truly tied together art and analysis through my creation of a motion graphic. I’m looking forward to holding the role of Vice President within AIS in the upcoming academic year.
My creative background is credited to studying fine arts at Repenning Fine Arts in Haddonfield, New Jersey. I have studied various mediums including oil painting, acrylic, water color, charcoal, photography, and dance. I believe that my studies in the arts has left me with a creative approach to problem solving and idea generation. Creating art challenges innovation, patience, and high levels of remaining detail oriented which are skills that I have transitioned into my professional and academic work.
