As a recent Management Information Systems (MIS) graduate with a background in fine arts and design. It is my passion to bridge the gap between creative and analytical thinking. Currently, I am a Digital Media Analyst intern for Temple’s Fox School of Business where I am responsible for utilizing Tableau to create compelling dashboards fueled by data from various media platforms.
Being a student in the Fox School of Business has provided me with various valuable experiences that have helped develop my professional and personal success. During my senior year, I held the role of Vice President for the Association of Information Systems. In this position I managed an executive board of 16 students that oversaw a student professional organization of 280+ members.
My creative background is credited to studying fine arts at Repenning Fine Arts in Haddonfield, New Jersey. I have studied various mediums including oil painting, acrylic, water color, charcoal, and photography. Currently, I am practicing digital design utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite to create animations. I believe that my studies in the arts has left me with a creative approach to problem solving and idea generation. Creating art challenges innovation, patience, and high levels of focus which are all skills that I have transitioned into my professional and academic work.
