Mapping and Data Visualization with Python
This meeting helped me learn more about creating interactive maps and visualizing geospatial data using Python, with a focus on the Leafmap library. I gained experience building dynamic, web-based maps that can handle large datasets and incorporate satellite imagery. The session also showed me how to load and style spatial data, work with different data types like raster and vector layers, and customize map features to better present information.
Additionally, I learned how to use real-world datasets, perform basic spatial analysis, and share maps through web-based platforms. Overall, this meeting gave me a better understanding of how geospatial tools can be used in areas like environmental studies, urban planning, and data analysis.
