I am currently a first semester Junior at the Fox School of Business at Temple University. I originally came to Temple University as a Chemistry major. Realizing my passions laid elsewhere I began to research the Management Information Systems major. When I realized that this was a top program – I found where I belonged. Currently, the MIS program at Temple is ranked in the Top 20 by U.S. News & World Report, a highly reputable source. I am proud to be involved in such a program, and even though I am only in the very beginning of the major, I am excited to learn all that it has to offer.
Currently I am taking MIS 2501 and 2502, Enteprise IT Architecture and Data Analytics, but before that I took MIS 2101, an MIS introductory course titled: Information Systems in Organizations. I enjoy this class more than most because of the wealth of information it has taught me. In the course we learn a broad spectrum of IT material, from SAP skills to mastering Excel, from Cybersecurity to E-Commerce, this course covers it all. Along with this class, I have also taken and done well in Financial Accounting, Marketing Management, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Legal Studies in the Business Environment, and Human Resource Management.
