My senior year of high school I enrolled in the North Carolina Outward Bound School, an intensive week to semester long wilderness expedition based on four pillars – Physical Fitness, Craftmanship, Self-Reliance, and Compassion. Although challenging, this experience taught me more about life in this short period of time, than I had learned in eighteen years. The lessons learned in leadership and courage you find after succesfully making your way miles up the side of a mountain are irreplaceable. Cooking.
Cooking has been a passion of mine throughout my entire life. I grew up in the kitchen, both professionally and leisurely. Cooking, especially baking desserts, is one of my favorite past times – it is a fantastic stress reliever as well as great way to entertain friends. Below is a photo link to my favorite recipes.
