TRICKS FOR LAUNCHING YOUR OWN WEBSITE

During this professional development, I learned how important it is to build a brand for yourself. The speaker taught us how to use inexpensive template and resources like Wix, Squarespace and WordPress to create a website. By using all these resources we can build professional websites. Having a professional website, we can us it to display and share our projects to other people. By building a brand, we can use it to build and grow our network with people with similar interest. This relates to my course work because we as MIS students have our own website (community) databases where we can network with professors and students in our major. This event expanded my knowledge on website building and branding that can be use to help update and improve my MIS community e-portfolio.
