Business Systems Analyst III
- According to Wikipedia, \”TD Bank is an American national bank and subsidiary of the Canadian multinational Toronto-Dominion Bank based in Toronto, Ontario. It operates primarily across the East Coast, in fifteen states and Washington, D.C. TD Bank is the eleventh largest bank in the United States by total assets, resulting from many mergers and acquisitions.\” Put more simply, TD Bank is a financial & banking institution. I will be working in Mount Laurel, NJ at a corporate office that (I believe) houses most of its technology division. This is a rotational program, so I am unsure of which specific technology department I will be starting in when I begin.
- As metioned above, I am unsure of what specifically my starting rotation will be, so I do not know these specifics. More generally, as a Business Analyst, I will \”develop new applications and innovative solutions that bring about real change in customer and employee experiences. Work on strategic deliverables with leading-edge technologies to provide high quality, secure code for various initiatives that redefine how we do business.\”
- I will be working in TD Bank\’s technology division. My job role reflects classes 3506/3535 where we take on the roles of Business Analysts and Project Managers. According to the above description, I will be working with technical solutions that create positive change for the company and its customers. A huge takeaway from my MIS Capstone course with Professor Tony Messina is that technology only adds value when it supports the business and helps drive new, beneficial change or improvements. I think I\’ll be doing a lot of that.
