Interests and Hobbies
A competitive tennis player:
Tennis has always been a huge part of my life and something that I did everyday in the summer as a kid. I played at Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis Center and Education (AAYTE) about 4-5 days a week as a middle school and high school student. When I got a little bit older I got a bit more competitive. At Upper Dublin High School, I was the #1 Singles player, leading the team for many wins. In high school I also qualified in Districts, making it to the final round and just falling short of the State Tournament for singles players. In the past few years I taught tennis at Radnor Valley County Club and Philadelphia Country Club. I taught young children how to play tennis and I also taught them etiquette at both of the country clubs. Currently, I am the Secretary of the Temple Club Tennis Team and I play all singles matches for my third year here at Temple.
Music & Art:
Listening to music is one of my favorite things to do. The types of music I enjoy are; hip hop, rap, reggae, some pop and some top hits. I also I enjoy drawing and designing. Specifically I have a passion for graphic design, Photoshop, PowerPoint designs and just for fun. I am a very technology-savvy, creative, and career-oriented student that takes pride in my graphic design knowledge and experiences.
Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority:
I am currently an active member and have been since my freshman year in 2011. We are involved in community service for school and college readiness, breast cancer awareness and more. We are nearly 100 years old, and growing. Phi Sigma Sigma was founded in 1913 in New York City.
