Developed company’s web site www.northeastinsurance.com . It included negotiating and purchasing premium domain name, design and hosting. I completed a few rounds of User Experience Design testing with company’s clients and employees. And adjusted web design per received feedback.
Dealt with redirect malware security breach on company’s web site. The site was hacked, so web page from Google search redirected customers to a completely unrelated web site. Cleared files modified by hackers. Implemented anti-virus, firewall and malware scan on regular basis. Followed up with Google indexing service to restore company’s web site pages on Google search. Added appointment booking feature during COVID-19 operations. Feature allowed booking for specific time slot, specific worker and specific service and was synchronized with Google calendar. I have learned how business operations and practices impact its web design. How business choses what information to publish on its web site and what features to add based on current situation, such as during COVID-19.
