MySQL Essential Training (2019)
I recently completed a MySQL course on LinkedIn Learning, instructed by Bill Weinman. MySQL stands as a cornerstone database management system for small- to medium-sized web projects, and this course offered invaluable insights into its functionalities. Throughout the tutorials, Bill provided clear and concise guidance on creating and managing MySQL databases from scratch. The course covered fundamental concepts such as SQL syntax, data manipulation using SQL statements, and the creation of databases and tables. Additionally, it dived into data types, operators, and built-in functions unique to MySQL. A highlight was understanding the distinctions between standard SQL and MySQL’s implementation, offering practical knowledge for real-world database management scenarios. Overall, this course has equipped me with the skills needed to confidently work with MySQL databases, enhancing my proficiency in web development.
