How my previous part-time job has helped me in achieving my goals:
I used to work in a very large Family Fun Center called Arnolds. At Arnolds I have many different jobs and tasks throughout the day. On most occasions I was working face to face with customers. Working with and communicating with customers and co-workers on a daily basis has helped to shape me into a very personable person. I am excellent at talking to customers and leaving good impressions. In addition to this, I also would work on many of the arcade games that we had in the facility. By doing some repairs and maintenance on the games, I was able to grasp some of the electronic workings of the machines and how they worked. I was able to see the computing inner-working of the games and assess what may have caused a problem. Lastly, my previous job helped me to gain patience when working with coworkers and customers. Despite the situation, a employee must remain calm and talk in a respectful and encouraging way to coworkers and customers. Without this skill, I would not have been able to help so many customers, and complete so many group projects successfully.
