Business & Technology Virtual Career Fair
On Friday, 17 February I attended the Business & Technology Virtual Career Fair hosted by Fox CSPD and CST. I had the opportunity to speak with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and learn about their areas of responsibility, organizational chart, and benefits as federal employees. I learned about the role of IT specialists, as relevant to my major, and how they contribute to EPA’s mission of protecting people and the environment. My interest in cloud-computing led me to inquire about EPA’s IT infrastructure and learned they use on-premise and application as a service technologies.
