- UI redesign & overhaul – Used Balsamiq & Figma wireframing applications to redesign UI for corporate finance portal and enhance user experience
- Portal roadmap research – Researched new features for corporate finance portal based on user testing & feedback and presented findings to senior management
- WordPress page development – Updated company WordPress site to improve SEO, reformatted pages for more seamless user experience, and developed new pages from scratch to highlight client case studies
- Google Analytics dashboard build – Created 5 new Google Analytics dashboards for 2 client sites to enhance click-through tracking
- Support cost calculator – Developed a complex support cost calculator in Excel to better analyze predicted costs & revenue for potential clients
- LTN fundraising outreach – Communicated with local restaurants & LTN team to plan and schedule fundraising events for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night fundraiser

Both the technical experience and soft skills I have gained from this internship directly relate to my majors of Management Information Systems and Marketing. I’ve gained experience with platforms like ZenDesk, Jira, WordPress, Balsamiq, Figma, Salesforce, and more, which are all involved in different aspects of the MIS field. Learning about wireframing and UX design has helped me understand what separates good design from poor design and has enhanced my web development and technical design skills. Managing projects and clients will benefit me in both the MIS and Marketing fields as it has improved my communication, time management, and organization. This internship has also helped shed light on what I want to pursue as my future career and heightened my interest in the areas of UX design, project management, and business analysis.
