Hindu Swaminarayan Temple
I volunteered at a Hindu Swaminarayan temple during the fall 2021 semester. The goal was to help with the daily upkeep, run errands, and transportation to make sure everything is running smoothly. Due to covid restrictions, a lot of the elderly who would come to the temple daily and help out with minor errands weren’t able to. So with a group of volunteers, we were able to pick up the slack, especially during Diwali times when the foot traffic increased exponentially.
