Academic History
My freshman and sophomore years at Temple were difficult for me because I couldn’t decide on a major. I came to Temple as a student in the Fox Business School but I was uncertain of which direction I wanted to go when it came to a major or career path in business. Junior year I made my decision to major in marketing and minor in psychology. More recently, I found a love for digital and social media marketing so I will begin directing my major towards a more specific path.
Along with learning real-word skills from my internship, I strive to be active in the marketing world at Temple. I am a member of Temple’s American Marketing Association and I am involved in the social media committee.
Having fulfilled most of my required business course, I have begun taking classes that reflect my professional goals such as:
- Market Research
- Consumer Buyer Behavior
- Digital Marketing
- Supply Chain Management
- International Marketing
My goal is to leave temple with a well-rounded education and real-world marketing skills.
In addition to my studies, I also take time to get involved in different clubs and organizations on campus such as Habitat for Humanity, Intramural Soccer, and American Marketing Association.
