AWS Discovery Day – Strategies and tools to perform large-scale migrations
I attended the AWS Discovery Day on Large-Scale Migrations in the Summer 2023, organized by Amazon Web Services. This event equipped me with essential knowledge about migration strategies and tools, such as AWS Server Migration Service and AWS Database Migration Service. I learned how to assess application readiness and optimize costs during migration, directly benefiting my coursework in cloud computing and aligning with my career goal of becoming a cloud solutions architect. This experience enhances my ability to design and implement effective cloud solutions for future clients and employers.
