About me
Hello, my name is Maya Smith. As a senior at Temple University’s Fox School of Business, I am pursuing a BBA in Management Information Systems with a minor in Spanish. I am passionate about data analytics, artificial intelligence, and user experience, and I have completed a Figma Essential Training certification to enhance my skills in these areas.
I serve as the President of the Fox African American Business Association for the 2024-’25 school year, a student organization that uplifts Black business students. In this role, I lead a team of brilliant minds in planning and executing crowdsourcing and charitable initiatives, social events, and recruiting new members.
Previously, I worked as a Senior Camp Counselor at Greater Philadelphia YMCA for four years, managing the safety and activities of over 120 children, coordinating field trips and schedules, and developing and teaching a STEM curriculum. Through this experience, I gained valuable leadership, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
