Career Objectives

Fashion, and Sports, and Business… Oh My!

Fashion Show

Being a Business Administration major, I have a lot of options when it comes to choosing a career path. There are a plethora of industries that I can go into and be successful, whether it be the retail industry, the restaurant industry, the manufacturing industry; My degree can take me far in them all. My ultimate goal, which coincides with my interests, is to work in the fashion industry or the sports industry. My experience through retail fashion has taught me a lot of about this industry and revealed the possibilities that are available in the fashion world while my childhood of athletics and enthusiasm for sports has me dreaming about career with the MLB or NHL. Directly out of college, I would like to become a fashion buyer for a company or work directly for an athletic association in business operations. My experience in retail along with any promotions or further experiences I may encounter in my career will hopefully prepare me for my life’s dream which is to own my own company and be my own boss.

My time spent in the Fashion and Business club at Temple University has taught me valuable skills that can be combined with my fashion and retail experience from New York and Company to make me a well rounded fashionista. Meanwhile, the joy that I get out of sitting at a game, taking in the sights, sounds, and smells enables a drive in myself that I know will make for a passionate sports businesswoman.  Taking these experiences and combining them with my extensive Temple University business classes will prepare me for any role in any industry and surely have me on my way to success.
