My Work Experience

Digital Marketing Specialist: I have accepted a full-time offer with Boiron USA as a Digital Marketing Specialist. This opportunity will allow me to continue working with the same team I’ve been with since September. I’m very excited to be a full-time Boiron employee post graduation, and am looking forward to taking on more responsibility.

Spring 2015: After completing the fall 2014 internship program at Boiron USA, I was offered to continue there in a spring internship. Between the months of December and May I will be working with the digital marketing team as a digital marketing intern. My responsibilites include:

  • Assisting Digital Marketing Manager with development and implementation of social growth opportunities and consumer engaging programs for all social platforms.
  • Creating forms, emails, and graphics, and helping manage digital assets to increase potential revenue opportunities.
  • Compiling reports and statistics for all digital marketing campaigns, contests and initiatives.
  • Managing images, graphics, and emails in marketing automation platform.
  • Analyzing website and social media trends using Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.

Fall 2014: After completing the summer 2014 internship program at Boiron USA, I was offered to continue there in a fall internship. Between the months of September and December I will be working with the digital marketing team as a digital marketing intern. This opportunity is exciting and will allow me to further build my work experience and develop myself as a professional.

Summer 2014: This past summer I worked as a PR/Research intern at Boiron USA headquarters in Newtown Square, PA. This experience was a valuable one in that I was exposed to a small company environment, completed projects for numerous departments, and became exposed to the PR industry. My responsibilities included building potential client contacts (using Vocus, Nexus, and highrise databases), researching subjects for various syndicated articles, developing presentations targeted for retail clients, constructing press kit mailings, and uploading product information to client databases. This experience allowed me to gain further insight into the roles of other departments in a company, and better prepared me to act as an intermediary between IT and other areas of business.  By completing the summer internship program, I gained a much better understanding of homeopathic medicines, the public relations industry, and the role that everyone plays in a smaller company.

Summer 2013: During the summer of 2013, I interned at Oracle Headquarters as a Business Analyst working with the Hardware Sales Team. My responsibilities included  developing and organizing territory and account knowledge, assisting in creating and uncovering sales opportunities in both new and existing customer accounts, assisting in identifying customers business needs, and collaborating with team members on the execution of plans and results. This experience  not only improved my professional skills, but  also allowed me to become more familiar with workplace environments, business culture, and professional teamwork. Working for an industry leading company fueled by competitiveness and innovation was an invaluable experience.

Between the summer of 2010 and the spring of 2013 I  provided Landscaping and Property Maintenance services to numerous clients. I provided skills that include landscaping duties, painting, fence construction, moving, dock work, etc. I have served clients in West Chester, Paoli, Berwyn, Exton, and Villanova, PA as well as in Stone Harbor, NJ. I was able to build this client list through excellent referrals and active networking. This job  taught me skills that will  assist me in the professional world and in business environments; as I have worked with difficult clients, worked under pressure, worked in teams, had to use effective communication, and completed tasks before deadlines. This job experience taught me useful skills, and helped me grow as a professional.

Prior to my experience providing Landscaping and Property Maintenance,  I worked as a Barista for Starbucks Coffee Company. The location I worked at was located in a busy mall environment serving approximately 1500 customers a day. My responsibilities included providing exceptional customer service, working as a team member, opening and closing the location, working cash register, preparing food and drink, and maintaining an efficient and healthy work environment. Working for Starbucks Coffee Co. taught me to work in diverse work environments, work under pressure, work at a fast and efficient pace, customer service, and building lasting customer relationships.

In the past I worked for Wellington Assisted Living. I worked as both a dish washer and as a server for the assisted living facility. The other employees and myself worked as a team to provide excellent service and to also build positive relationships with the Wellington residents. My responsibilities included taking orders, preparing and maintaining dining areas, preparing kitchen areas, serving drinks and food, and assisting in closing the kitchen after dinner. This experience taught me team work, active communication with managers, building customer and work relationships, and working with a variety of people effectively.
