FOX Design Challenge 2014
In the spring semester of 2014 I participated in the annual FOX Design Challenge hosted at The Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. Over 200 students participated from Temple University, the University of the Arts, collaborating universities and select Philadelphia high schools. Student teams interviewed civic, business and community leaders, researched areas of interest, identified problems and opportunities and designed solutions that are environmentally responsible, economically sustainable, and humanly satisfying. My group developed a solution which finished 3rd place overall in the competition, and we had to opportunity to present our solution in front of over 200 people. This was an enjoyable experience and one I plan on participating in again in 2015.
