Weekly Question: 20 Feb

In class on Friday I gave examples for how the same data could be stored using different methods in different databases that are similar to each other but will not allow you to join the databases easily. For example, Name could be stored in one field or may be broken down to first name and last name. Phone numbers could be stored as INT or as DECIMAL. Countries may have multiple names.

For the weekly question this week, give an example of  a data field that could be stored in different ways in different databases –
