Course description

Explore concepts related to process thinking & management, project management and product management. Students will be able to apply knowledge of key principles related to technology-enabled business transformation and process-centric organizational change.

Course Objectives 

1) IT Project Management

  • Understand initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing projects in the context of topics such as scope, resources, timing and cost (Waterfall approach)
  • Learn how to monitor project progress and communicate status to stakeholders

2) IT Product Management

  • Understand the difference between Agile and Waterfall development practices
  • Learn the Agile approach and the SCRUM framework such as values, roles and events

3) Change Leadership

  • Develop an understanding of process thinking and key management strategies that support IT-enabled business transformation
  •  Learn how to plan, manage, and lead business change
