2. Examples of projects (e.g., list the projects you worked on and what you accomplished)
• Manage client insurance policies and build insurance quotes using our EZLynx Agency Management System and Pipedrive CRM tool.
• Manage, clean, and analyze data using excel and pivot tables to create monthly agency reports and visualizations concerning agents, clients, and agency success.
3. What you learned and how it relates to your major (e.g., describe what you learned from this experience in the context of specific courses)
I gained valuable experience in a real business setting, and was able to see and experience the role, value, and application of data analysis and data management in a start-up insurance business. I utilized information systems such as EZLynx and the Pipedrive CRM to retrieve, clean, and analyze client and agency data in order to build agency reports and visualizations to bring value to the organization. I was also able see firsthand and learn from my associates the role and deployment of API’s in the development of a new insurance quoting application.
