Data Science Project – Spring 2017
In second semester of Freshman year, I took a class called Data Science. The final project entailed working with a team of three other students to create an info-graphic, our team decided to use excel and Tableau to test how well certain economic indicators predicted the stock market. Data Analytics Challenge- Fall 2017
I worked with a team of three other students on the Data Analytics Challenge in the first semester of Sophomore year. We developed our skills with Excel and R to analyze smoking data from Pfizer. Take a look at our info-graphic here.
Target Case Competition – Spring 2018
This semester, I’m working with another team of three other students to develop a business plan for Target. The goal is to better market and gender neutral toys, the results will be posted after the competition closes.
Other Activities
Risk Management and Actuarial Science Case Competition – Fall 2017 and Spring 2018
I am a director for the Actuarial Science and Risk Management Case Competition for the Risk and Insurance Department at Fox. Students completing their boot camp classes in our insurance program participate in a Case Competition where they present to industry professionals and are judged on how well they do. Me and two other directors organize the entire event, in the Fall we successfully ran the competition for 3 professors, involving over 50 students and over 27 industry professionals.
Temple University Crypto Club
I’ve been involved in the cryptocurrency space since Freshman year. I participate in our University’s Crypto Club by making presentations to members, giving information on new exchanges and sharing my thoughts on price action and current events.
