Opportunity Knocks
I participated in the Main Line Chamber of Commerce Talent and Education Network event, Opportunity Knocks: Wisdom from Recent Grads on Jobs & Internships, an employer-led webinar focused on internship and entry-level career opportunities. The event was sponsored by the Main Line Chamber and featured employers and recent graduates who shared insights about the hiring process, transitioning from college to the workforce, and how to stand out as a candidate. As a student attendee, my role was to engage with employers, learn about different companies and career paths, and prepare for internship and entry-level opportunities. Through this experience, I learned about current hiring trends, the importance of networking, how to tailor my resume to specific roles, and what employers look for in recent graduates. This activity helped me better understand how to prepare for my career after graduation and how to present myself professionally to potential employers.
