Royal Bargain Project
I worked on a team with another MIS student named Jason Mays and one of my MIS professors named Taha Havakhor. Professor Havakhor was our advisor for the project. Our main goal for the project was to create a website for Royal Bargain Dollar Store so they could have more of an online presence and display their products. The URL for the site is https://royal-bargain-store.myshopify.com/. For this project, we used Shopify to build the website. I had used Shopify in my first project so I continued to advance my Shopify skills and get better at building websites, adding plugins, and design. I got really good at working on the product features that Shopify offers and adding different shipping options, such as curbside pick-up. In this project, I had some more individual responsibilities compared to my first project. I had some individual meetings with our client in order to teach him how to use features on Shopify. This helped me enhance my communication skills since I worked more personally with the client.
