Honors Ambassador
Spring 2017 – Present
About HATT
- The purpose of the Honors Admissions and Transitions Team (HATT) is to guide prospective students through their college decision-making process and support their transition to Temple University and the Honors Program during the summer orientations.
My Responsibilities as HATT Ambassador
- Serve as a positive representative of Temple University, the Honors Program, and the Honors Admissions and Transitions Team
- Host high school students and their families on individual day-long visits, including: giving tours of 1300 (Honors Residence Hall), hosting lunch or coffee, taking students to Honors classes
- Attend Experience Temple Days for admitted students and talk to students and their families about Temple Honors Programs, Temple University in general
Key Takeaways
- I have been with HATT since my second semester at Temple in January 2017, and looking back, I am so thankful for what HATT has given me: a lovely cozy place to hang out with my friends in Temple Honors Programs, wonderful Honors advisors who always take a genuine interest in learning about a student’s day, great groups of friends and teammates, and plenty of opportunities to grow both professionally and personally.
HATT Ambassadors are always in full positive and fun energy!
