Interests and hobbies
I have a wide variety of interests and hobbies some of them are;
Reading:
I was never much of a reader but after watching the Game of Thrones series in HBO I began reading the novel in which it was based. Reading the series of epic novels A Song of Ice and Fire has become one of my favorite hobbies since the story along with the characters and their development throughout the books brings an unpredictable “fairy tale” in which the author intends to show a more “realistic” story incorporating many tragedies, situations and outcomes that a common fairy tale wouldn’t include since they don’t correlate with the harmony of a happy ending, but in reality we see that happy endings often come at a price and a not-so-happy ending for others. This along with the mysteries and details and riddles hidden in the books bring about a great story that has captured the attention of many.

Traveling:
Although I only know two countries, my country birth; Colombia and the United States, I dream of traveling the world and learning about diverse cultures. I plan to visit the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Germany, Israel, Argentina, Brazil and many more countries in my lifetime.
Soccer:
I don’t follow much of the club teams but I always love watching the world cup events, especially this 2014 World Cup in Brazil to which Colombia has classified and is listed as one of the top ten teams for this event.
Music:
I appreciate good music and I listen to a wide variety of music in both Spanish and English, I want to learn to play the acoustic guitar this summer.
Cooking:
My taste for food is as diverse as my taste for music, but in the same sense I’m more of an appreciator of food rather than a creator. Another one of my goals for this summer is to learn a few recipes so I can enjoy good food whenever I want to.
TV:
I enjoy watching some TV series, you may already guess I like Game of Thrones but I also like shows like Breaking Bad, sitcoms such as the Big Bang Theory, Seinfeld, Friends, other comedies like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Parks and Recreation. I’m also a big fan of historic documentaries.
