Career Interests and Aspirations
Marketing is a great influence to a business’s potential customers and the products/services that it provides. One of my strongest characteristics is my communication and customer service skills and I believe that it is one of the characteristics that will take me far into my Marketing career in the future.
After graduating, I plan to obtain a Marketing position in the corporate media, advertising, or cosmetics industry. I can see my knowledge, creativity, and strong communication and customer service skills make an impact on my career. My past leadership roles and experiences such as Senior Class President and a sales associate, will support my future career as well.
There is an increasing shift in technology, especially within the marketing industry. I chose a MIS minor because it accommodates my major very well. In both the past and future, technology has and will impact the marketing industry. With my MIS minor I will be able to indicate, select, use and implement information technology to the marketing field.
Several careers that interest me are: Promotion, Product/Product Marketing, and Advertising Manager, Market Research Manager, Marketing Automation, and Digital/Internet/Social Media Manager.
