Being an Indian, born in Myanmar, I have a strong cultural background. This diversity not only has enabled me to adapt to different environments but also has allowed me to understand various perspectives.
I moved to the United States to further pursue my education at Temple University in 2017. I am a junior, double majoring in Management Information Systems and Finance. I am hard working, flexible, and thrive in a team environment as a candidate. I have been on the Dean’s list since the beginning of my college career by maintaining a GPA above of 3.87. I have enforced my leadership skills by serving as a treasurer for the Temple Consulting club. I have as well been an active member of AIS since I have changed my major.
As a child, I have enjoyed engaging in my family business and occasionally have participated during meetings. I always admired how my father took business decisions and knew I wanted to pursue my career in the business industry. After taking MIS 2101 course, I realized that today’s business industry is highly dependent on IT and how efficient IT can make a business run. Hence, due to my growing excitement in the MIS field and my love towards numbers, I chose to do double major.
