I listened to speakers from 10 am to around 1 pm. There were many different talks I could have turned into, but I listened to one that focused on Cybersecurity. They discussed forensic methods and tools used in tracking threats from within the company. One of the most common ways companies are breached is due to someone within the company. I forget the name of the speaker, but he discussed a tool used for communications that keeps records of many different actions. This makes back-tracking or preventing a breach much easier. This was especially interesting for me, as I want to move more towards cybersecurity and network security. This gave me some exposure into the real-world tools that security professionals are actually using.
