Tech Architecture Analyst
During the summer of 2023, I interned at Accenture as a Tech Architecture Analyst. As a Summer Analyst, I was assigned to a client project for a leading global pharmaceutical company. For that project, my role was project management coordinator.
As a PM Coordinator, I was mainly tasked with tracking project progress, data analysis, and assisting client meetings. To track project progress, I created a RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) log to track all actions and potential risks for 8 mergers and acquisitions. My team’s focus was on managing end-user support, hardware deployment and reclamation, and site support for businesses transitioning in/out of the client’s environment. In order to make sure that tasks were deployed smoothly, I created process flow charts for the team playbook to aid the approach for any current and future deals. I created and owned three Power BI dashboards to illustrate trends of hardware reclamation efforts. Created with over 3,000 data points, I used these dashboards to present to the client the progress that our team had made.
I learned a lot at Accenture, and the MIS curriculum and Fox courses really helped me excel. MIS courses such as Data and Analytics (MIS 2502), Cloud Architecture (MIS 3406), and User Experience Design (MIS 3506) taught me skills that I could directly apply to my client-work. Other courses with helpful skills included Business Communications (BA 2196) and Legal Environment of Business (LGLS 1101).
