  1. What you learned

What I have learned from this conference is how email comprise have a great threat because it is a problem in every industry. Receiving email and clicking on links can trap the user to think it is real which then lead to hacking into personal information, information about the company and even sensitive information. These scammers are making so much money because of it is easy and very little risk factor. It is important to identify the who the email is coming from and how the message is put together. To be safe from these people is cross check with the person name or so into a account that is true to double check. It is very important to know even if it is urgent. To be able to stop the red flags is crucial such as sender, if words are misspelled and so on.

  1. How the activity relates to coursework or your career goals

I want to further my education in cybersecurity because there is a lot of data out there that is not secure. I feel like it is so important because it makes it easier for other to hack and scam you. Data is everything is I feel so it is important to secure that since technology is changing and improving everyday. I personally do not feel so secure with sensitive I hold because data and companies can be breached and data can stolen and recovering from that is also hard to do. I feel there are many thing to prepare when it comes to securing information for the greater good.
