Miracle League
This is a community service project that my Fraternity Delta Chi does every semester where we go to a park in New Jersey and help/cheer on special needs children playing softball. The goal of this project is to help the kids have fun and assist them in any way that is needed such as helping them run the bases or as simple as having a catch with them in the outfield. The results of this project were the kids all had a great time as well as the parents watching loved seeing their kids happy and enjoying softball. I learned that the players loved to be cheered on and encouraged to do physical activity even if it can be challenging at times, which is why we were there to help.
