Experience

Allan Myers Summer Internship 1 (Summer 2018): While completing this internship, I learned the basic role of the IT department in a heavy civil construction company. I was also trained in, and began to work on the company service desk. While on the service desk, I troubleshot network connectivity issues, Office 365 and enterprise apps. During my internship I also handled the hardware wiping and recycling for the company. I maintained a detailed inventory sheet of outgoing hardware, and participated in hardware swaps when necessary. These swaps included laptop/desktop workstations, as well as mobile devices.

Part Time Allan Myers  (Fall through Spring 2020): After my first internship, I continued to work part time for the company’s IT department. I continued to man the help desk as well as monitor hardware recycling.

Allan Myers Summer Internship 2 (Summer 2019): Before the start of college, I completed another summer internship with the IT department at Allan Myers. I continued to troubleshoot network, office and enterprise app issues on the service desk, as well as monitor hardware recycling. In addition to this, I took a detailed inventory of printers, and landline jacks throughout the company’s headquarters. I also participated in a company wide mobile device manager migration and helped setup and troubleshoot IT workstations at a new remote company site.
