Audit IT Assurance Intern
I worked as an Audit IT Assurance Intern at Grant Thornton. My role was to do the same work as any associate. I would perform tests, sit in on walkthroughs, and meet clients. One example of a test that I performed is an IT Privileged Test. Through this internship, I learned the specific function of an IT Auditor, what the work looks like on a daily basis, and how to use my technical skills to understand other organizations better. My MIS 5202 IT Governance course helped me understand the structure of most of the companies I worked on. My MIS 2101 Honors Digital Systems course helped me understand their workflows.
