Modifying my 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege & 1997 Honda Civic, and competing in car shows

I am an avid car enthusiast, and enjoy everything about cars and motorsports in general. I currently own a 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege and a 1997 Honda Civic coupe. The Mazdaspeed Protege, named “Nadia”, is a limited edition model and is number 701 out of 2,750 ever made! I bought the Honda Civic about a year ago to have a ‘daily driver’, however it didn’t end up that way. Currently, it has undergone a motor swap and now has a full h22a drivetrain, amongst other modifications. In my spare time, I take both of them to car shows and meets all over the tri-state area. I compete in as many shows as possible, but unfortunately have never won an award for either car. I am always in the garage in my spare time working on either one of these beauties, or cleaning them. I also enjoy all motorsports from drifting to drag racing, and everything in between!

Softball

Softball has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I started playing in Babe Ruth leagues when I was six years old, and developed into a utility player. I made my first all-star team when I was 10, predominately as a pitcher/catcher. At the age of 13 I joined my first travel team as a general utility player. That year, I developed into the starting catcher. When I was 14, we placed 9th in the Nation out of over 150 teams. Once I was in High School, I tried out for the softball team and was 1/2 freshman to make the varsity team. Throughout my High School career I excelled at softball. Every year I received honors for being one of the best players in the county. Two out of four years, I received the highest honor of First-Team All-County. The most interesting part about these honors is that every year I received honors for a different position. My junior year, however, I tore my shoulder in the last game of the season and had to receive surgery that summer. I came back as a senior and still was able to have the highest batting average, as well as, receive first-team honors as a first-baseman; a position I had never played before. After graduating High School, I decided against playing in College due to my shoulder injury and my want to concentrate on excelling scholastically.

Soccer

Soccer was an unexpected love of mine. I had played when I was 4, but then had quit to pursue horseback riding for the next 7 years. After hanging up my saddle, my best friend at the time was on a travel soccer team which needed players. Since I had newfound time available, I decided to join the team. I played for that team for 6 years and developed into a very good goalie and striker. Once in High School, I tried out for the soccer team, and was one of two freshman to make the varsity team! Predominately a goalie, I played for 2 years for the High School team. At the time, I was already seeing a doctor for shoulder issues I’ve suffered from since I was 11, and he told me that my shoulder could not hold up if I continued to play goalie and dive on it all the time. Softball was my predominate sport, so I decided to concentrate on softball and play pick-up soccer games to preserve my shoulder as long as I could.
