Consulting in Your Field with Joe Atkinson, Vice Chair at PwC
The IT related webinar that I attended was called Consulting in Your Field with Joe Atkinson, Vice Chair at PwC. PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) is one of the Big Four accounting firms and provides their clients with consulting. They also use technology to improve their business practices. I learned that the PwC organization is about investment in the individual. They bring people in and prepare them for new technologies that are making their way into the workplace. At PwC, they work to build people’s digital IQ by focusing on where technology is going. This webinar directly relates to my coursework because technology is changing how we work in professional services. We need to be innovative and be able to adapt to these quickly evolving new technologies to ensure that we do not fall behind.
