Career Objectives
I am currently a junior at Temple University, studying finance at The Fox School of Business. I plan to graduate in May of 2015. After graduation I ideally would love to go to graduate school and obtain my MBA. However, due to the fact that i pay my way through school, it would be very hard to afford graduate school. So, I plan to graduate Temple University with a full time job offer waiting for me. One of the main criteria while looking and applying for jobs, is that I would like a company that either pays, or help pays for some of my graduate school. I would like for that job offer to be a company from NYC so I could commute from my permanent home address in NJ. I would be able to save much more money at home, in order to help pay off loans or attend graduate school. NYC also has many more finance job opportunities than any other city in the United States. My dream job while I am young would be to work in the New York Stock Exchange. I really enjoy the rush you get while trading stocks and bonds, where you can gain or lose a lot of money. Everyday your job is different, and that is something I am looking for. Hopefully after that, I can move into a higher level position in and investment bank or association after having experience and excelling in the New York Stock Exchange. After that, my objectives are somewhat vague. However, those vague objectives are being able to support my family, travel, enjoy my job than I have reached my career objectives.
