Recommendation Systems Research
This class project involved researching an upcoming Information Systems topic. I chose Recommendation Systems & Predictive Analysis as it is a very important step in the field of data analytics. Recommendation systems help people decide upon a choice of action or between two items. Predictive analysis involves a prediction in trends–specifically determining the supposed outcome of an event or action a person takes. Putting these two together results in determining what item a person will chose before they’ve even done so! This is extremely important to those in IT and Data Management, and I have so far learned that it is a very powerful tool.
