I learned how to create projects and set up basic project information and calendars. Activity explored creating and linking different types of tasks to build a schedule – created work, material, and cost resources and assigned them to tasks. Learned using Microsoft projects software which is very useful in collaborative team projects, it has many management tools that increase work efficiency. Tuning is very necessary for maximizing resources and it has a built-in task inspector which detects scheduling issues for the user. This also allows the developer to adjust the lag time for the operation. This course helped me learn project management skills utilizing Microsoft projects in a collaborative environment due to its endless uses for the supply chain management.
